9th Annual Young Hollywood Awards!

Movieline’s Hollywood Life 9th Annual Young Hollywood Awards were held on April 22, 2007 at Gift Lounge at Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, CA. Most prominent winners included Katharine McPhee who was presented the Exciting New Vocalist honor by "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson; Ludacris who received Today's Superstar award from Hilary Duff and Katherine Heigl who won the coveted Superstar of Tomorrow title, given to her by "Grey's Anatomy" co-star T.R. Knight.

During the whole ceremony young celebs were trying to look and behave like adult a-listers: there was much make-up, plenty of sexy dresses and a lot of kissing and hugging.

Katherine Heigl Has Two Addictions

Katherine Heigl abuses... The 20-year-old beauty seems to be addicted to smoking and cud-chewing. Yeah, Katherine should polish her manners a bit - she has become a public person after all! And we continue hearing more and more of Katherine Heigl every day. The recent Heigl news concern her new movie part in the comedy ('27 Dresses') and her recent contract with Coty’s; Heigl will promote their new creation - Nautica’s first female fragrance.

In '27 Dresses' Katherine Heigl will play a lonely woman who has been as a bridesmaid 27 times. On the 27th wedding she had to be a bridesmaid of her own sister who was getting married with the man Katherine's heroine was in love with. The movie will directed by Anne Fletcher ('Step Up') and was written by 'The Devil Wears Prada' screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna.

Celebs At The 6th Annual General Motors TEN event

General Motors was celebrating its sixth annual GM Ten Event tonight at Paramount Studios yesterday. The theme of the the charity benefit was green this year (hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, hybrids and concept cars). The event was celebrating the intersection of fashion, auto design, and entertainment.

All the star guests participating in TEN were styled by famed stylist Rachel Zoe. The celebrities taking part in the event included Oscar nominees Jackie Earle Haley, Jennifer Hudson, and Adriana Barraza, along with Teri Hatcher, Mary J. Blige, Katherine Heigl, Masi Oka, Mario Lopez, Emmy Rossum, Jeremy Sisto, Christina Milian and Roselyn Sanchez.

Christina Milian looked awsome, both in a white minidress and in the elegant and sexy gown. Katherine Heigl (BTW we hear more day by day about the Grey's Anatomy beauty) was beautiful first in a black minidress and then in a long white gown. Emmy Rossum was on the contrary somehow ridiculous in that huge I-dont-know-the-color dress of hers.

Katherine Heigl Loves Dogs and Even Looks Like Them

Katherine Heigl has teamed up with the third-annual Pedigree Dog Adoption Drive to promote awareness of pet adoption. To tell you the truth, Katherine even resembles that cute white dog she is holding in the picture. Heigl and Pedigree were buying signatures for $1 each yesterday in Times Square.

According to Katherine Heigl:

“each year, more than four million dogs enter shelters across the United States".
