Shockwave NME Awards Scandals

The Shockwave NME Awards ceremony was held at at the Hammersmith Palais and was graced by such celebs as crazy couple Kate Moss and Pete Doherty, Girls Aloud stars Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding, and others.

Kate Moss, who had been invited to the Shockwave NME Awards to present Godlike Genius award to Primal Scream, failed to appear on the stage. The model along with her boyfriend Pete Doherty (the two have just moved in together) were kicked away from the ceremony by their own bodyguards. As the Awards' host report they were forced to ask the couple's security to do that because Pete and Kate were caught

“trying to get into the venue's toilets together and were later caught in an alleyway at the back of the building together".

Lily Allen was unlucky again having lost to Jamie T the best solo artist award and in addition being awarded as the "worst dressed star". Robbie Williams being awarded for the worst album of the year with his Rudebox was unable to pick up his award as Robbie was still in the rehab.The award list is as follows:

The worst dressed star - Lily Allen
The best dressed male - The Horrors front man Farris Rotter
The sexiest male - Muse's Matt Bellamy
The worst album - Robbie Williams (for Rudebox)
