Katharine McPhee was spotted by paparazii in New York yesterday.

All Katharine can talk about now is her dubut album:

“This is my record and I can do really whatever I want. I'm excited about up-tempo songs that are kind of girly, just fun. Like 'Not Ur Girl' and 'Love Story' - definitely 'Open Toes,' especially when the breakdown comes at the very end. I'm telling you, just to listen to that vamp. I hope people take from this record a little bit more of a sense of who I am. I think people will really walk away going, 'Oh, this is the Katharine that we didn't get to see on 'Idol.'"
